saturday something: slr-680 on the bus:

i think this, and my yashica t4, are my two greatest camera finds on the thrift market. this, $30. it was being sold for parts, and was described as “long rectangular folding camera”. i saw a side view (with chipped sonar element on the side), and was like “waaait a sec, that’s a flipping 680”! they had no photographs in which the logo was displaying! (dont do this:) i *might* sell my sx-70, now…
the t4 super i found in a plastic bin at st. vincent du paul for 99cents. both are somewhat beaters, this one aside from the chip slightly better. but they both take photographs beautifully (a few here soon for you:)
that’s my lunchbag in the back.
taken with my new 35mm/f1.8 lens. no post production…35 is also new this week and is a relative steal (floor model) — needed to have something for the new baby coming at the end of the month!
